May Favorites

Hi guys!
End of May means another monthly favorites post! While planning this post, I couldn't really think of products that I have been obsessed with, but after looking through just my everyday makeup, I found a number of items that have been game changers this past month.

Starting with the more random/skincare/bodycare products...
In my last post I mentioned the Kiehl's Lip Balm #1- This has been absolutly amazing. I love the light feeling on my lips, but the intense moisture it gives. It is a pricey number, but I do think it is worth the investment because it will last you a long time!

After hearing Casey Holmes talking about the Victoria Secret Bombshell perfume, I new I had to try out this classic for myself. I purchased the summer perfume as well as the fragrance mist and love them both. I use the mist on a daily basis, and the perfume when I have a "special" event.

If you follow me on Instagram, you will know my thoughts towards the Ole Hendrickson Grease Relief Facial Spray. I love this spray. It is intended to be used as a toner on a cotton ball, but I use it before my makeup straight from the spray. The product helps my makeup stay matte longer while not drying out my skin. If you are interested in purchasing the product, check out Ole Hendrickson's website because it is currently 50% off!!

I am not sure if I have ever mentioned this on the blog before, but I am in a serious relationship with the Cetaphil Daily Cleanser. I finally purchased the full size (after going through about 10 travel sizes). I love the packaging (the pump is really good for use in and out of the shower) and the product itself is very good. The cleanser is gentile while removing any traces of makeup, dirt, and impurities. My face feels clean, but not dry after using this! A bonus is that it is from the drugstore!

I have one brush favorite of the month. The Real Techniques Contour Brush is a brush that has changed my makeup game. I would typically contour with an angled brush, or a small powder brush, but this contour brush gives the perfect natural, yet defined look. It works with all products (even creams!) and blends to perfection. The only downside is that I believe you must purchase this brush in a kit. Even so, the Real Techniques brushes are very inexpensive and all very very high quality.

I have 4 makeup favorites of the month. The first being the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer I mentioned in a post last week. Not only does this bronzer smell amazing, but it blends seamlessly and looks incredible on the skin. I highly recommend for anyone of a fair to medium complexion. In that "worth the hype" post, I did mention how the bronzer was especially light. I did not realize that I had purchased the lighter of the two shades. The darker shades is not dark by any means, but would definitely work on a medium skin tone.

The Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder is another product I talked about in my "Worth the Hype" post that I love. It is the BEST powder for setting dry skin. It doesn't accentuate ANY dry skin and sets everything incredibly well. Highly recommend.

Kiko Milano is a brand that I have been interested in since I first saw a store near my apartment in Milan a few years ago. I recently tried the Kiko Summer 2.0 Mascara and fell in love. Intrigued by the very tiny wand, I purchased the mascara with low expectations. I have never found a more intense mascara. I kid you not, it looks like I am wearing false lashes when I use this mascara. On days I want something a little more subtle, I only apply one coat and have great looking lashes without going overboard.

I seriously love all of these products, and use them on a daily basis. Let me know what your favorite products from the month were! I'd love to test them out.

Thank you so much for reading, and have an amazing weekend!
