Housewarming Gift Ideas

Whether you’re the new neighbor or the BFF moving furniture, a gift for the person who’s moving is essential. It’ll help welcome them to their new home and if you’re the new neighbor, be the perfect excuse for an introduction and if you’re the BFF, just show them you care. Today I have a few of my go-to housewarming gift ideas for you!

  • Cheese Board - A cheese board is a great gift because it’s something the recipient is unlikely to buy for themselves but will be used so often.

  • DIY Desserts - As you guys know, I love to bake. Baking cookies or brownies is a great way to say ‘welcome’. Even better? Put them on a nice serving plate or in a tin as part of the gift.

  • Serving Bowl - A serving bowl is a great gift because it’s another thing someone probably won’t buy for themselves. They’ll be super helpful for entertaining later in the future.

  • Throw - A soft throw is a great idea for a new home - you can never have too many. If you want to make it a little more personal, try adding a monogram.

  • Doormat - A doormat is the perfect gift to help dress up a new home. It’s super cute and will actually come in handy in the future.

  • Plant - Nothing like the gift of life, am I right? jk lol. But in all seriousness, giving a plant in a nice vase is such a pretty gift to give.
  • DIY Dinner - I love giving gift baskets as gifts. By giving a basket filled with all the ingredients they need for a meal, the recipients will be all set for their first dinner in their new house. A few ideas to think about: a pasta basket (think sauce, pasta, nice cheese, etc) or a taco basket (shells, cheese, seasoning, homemade guacamole etc).

These are my favorite ideas for housewarming gifts - they’re all so cute and will definitely show the recipient that you care. Share any other ideas you have down below and I’ll be sure to check them out!
