Healthy lifestyle tips

Hey guys!
Today, I will be sharing with you some of my healthy lifestyle tips. I find that being healthy or going on a diet is way more than just loosing weight or body fat, it is about bettering yourself so in the future you can live a longer, healthier life.
Being healthy takes a lot of will power and strength but if it is something you are ready and willing to do it feels amazing! 
They always say that being healthy is about changing your lifestyle, and I could not agree more. 
The first step is to change the way you think. Even if you workout all day everyday, you won't see results right away. It will take a few weeks for you to see changes, but even if you don't see anything persevere because results will happen. 
When working out, I highly recommend changing up your routine. This is important because as you workout, your body gets accustomed to the workout and you will not get the most benefits of the workouts. It is recommended that you change up your workout routine ever 4-8 weeks.
ALWAYS weight lift before cardio. This is because weight lifting is uses anaerobic processes which means that you are using the ATP that is already in your body. Anaerobic exercise creates much less ATP than aerobic exercise therefore should be done before.
Work larger muscle groups before targeting specific muscles. Doing this will let you get the best of your weight lifting. If you start by targeting specific muscles, your muscles will get tired more quickly and you cannot work on the larger group after.
LIFT WEIGHTS. As women, it is common to be against weight lifting because lifting is associated with large muscles. If one were to do 15-18 reps on a medium weight, you will burn more calories than cardio. Lifting weights will cut down on your subcutaneous fat (the fat that sits on top of your muscles) and will tone your body. Unless you are eating a ton of protein and doing your max weight for 3-5 reps, you will not bulk up your muscles.
Give your muscle group one day of rest before working them again. If Monday is your arm day, make your next arm day Wednesday.

Those were just some of my tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Of course there is a million of other things that are important, but I find that these are the most important and useful.
