Color Palettes for your Room

Hey guys!

In case you couldn’t tell, picking a paint color was extremely difficult for me. And I think the best advice I can give you is to approach your room with a concept and palette instead of just a single color. It will help you unify your room and create a sense of cohesion and relationship.  So today I thought it would be fun if I came up with a list of a few of my favorite color palettes for a room!

  • White, Mint Green, and Gold - White is a super refreshing neutral and paired with mint green and gold it really stands out. The accents are bright and will pop against the white but won’t overpower the room.
  • Cream, Lavender, and Dark Green - This range of colors all complement each other really well. By focusing on the cream and lavender and pulling in the green as an accent accent color you’re creating a serene yet vibrant palette.
  • Navy, White, and Gold - This sea-worthy palette combines bold and neutrals really nicely. Be sure not to overdo the navy, perhaps an accent wall? But the crisp white will help balance it out.
  • Burnt Orange, Brown, and Warm Yellow - This warm palette is perfect for a small room with lots of sun. The colors all contrast each other yet harmonize with each other really well.
  • Pink, Gold, and White - Of course, I’m partial to this palette because this is mine but it works really nicely. The bright pink and white are offset by a warm gold making it a perfectly balanced combo.
  • White, Teal, and Tangerine - This one is right on the edge of hectic and harmonized. Pick one of the accent colors to be the main accent color and the other to be the accent accent color to avoid the room from being way too overpowering.
  • White, Peach, and Fuschia - This unlikely color combo is perfect for anyone who wants to add a little surprise to their room. I advise sticking mainly to white and peach and throwing some fuschia in there every so often.
  • Eggplant, White, Fuschia, and Yellow - Another super bright color scheme, this one has a lot going on. Be sure not to overdo it and balance out the brightness of the fuschia but choosing a lighter/more muted yellow.
  • Monochrome - This one is a little vague but can look absolutely gorgeous. Try picking 3-5 shades of a color and one neutral. I love this look with blues, greys, or pinks.

So these are some of my favorite color palettes for walls. I hope I gave you some inspiration for your room. Share pics of your color scheme with us for a chance to be featured on social media!
