Candy Cookie Cake

Halloween!!!!!! Yayy, I can’t wait! So I thought now would be a perfect time to share my candy cookie cake recipe with you! If you consider yourself too old to be trick or treating, make sure you pick up some candy to give out (and by that I mean eat yourself and use in this recipe). This is a super versatile recipe and you can change the types of candy to fit your preferences! And it’s a perfect way to get into the halloween spirit and  great thing to serve at any party.

  • 1 cup of unsalted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 TSP baking powder
  • ¾ TSP salt
  • 1 ½ cups of chopped Halloween candy - I choose Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Twix, M&M’s, and Kit Kats - but GET CREATIVE!

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit
  • Grease a pie pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl with either a hand-mixer or a stand mixer beat the butter until creamy.
  • Add in both sugars and beat until fluffy.
  • Add in the eggs and beat until combined.
  • In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Slowly pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  • Mix in 1 cup of the Halloween candy.
  • Pour into the pie pan and sprinkle the leftover candy on top.
  • Bake for 25-35 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the middle is set.
  • Let it cool on a cooling rack.
  • Enjoy!

So this is it! It’s a great recipe to make for any sort of Halloween party or using any leftover candy. Share pictures of your candy cookie cake with us for a chance to be featured on social media. Also let me know what candy you used and I’ll be sure to check them out!
