How to Make a Fitness Journal

So today I have a different kind of post for you. Recently, I’ve seen a ton of stuff written about the benefits of journaling. And I decided to try it. But more and more, I realized that my journal entries were just becoming recordings of when I woke up, what I ate, and what exercise I did. So I decided to try something different. I now keep 2 journals. I have one where I write down like normal journal stuff and another one. My fitness one. Keeping two journals actually helped organize my life more and make it easier to look back for specific info.


So I started to make my fitness journal by writing down some things I definitely wanted to include for every day. These all ended up being super basic: what I ate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, when I woke up and went to bed, and what exercise I did. From there I dug a little deeper to come up with  few other sections: what snacks I ate, the amount of water drank, and any goals I have for the next few days. If you have any medications or health things like that to remember, I also recommend having a section for them. Obviously I had to colorcode my journal - and on some pages I had to have a few drawings.


So I know that this wasn’t a super long post, but hopefully it will help you to create a fitness journal of your own.
