Beauty- At home pedicure

Hey guys!
In today's post, I'm going to show you my top essentials and what I do to create an at home pedicure. I love getting pedicures, but they can get expensive so I went on a mission to find tools that would make your at home experience much better! The first thing I do is remove any existing polish. I just use any nail polish remover on a cotton pad. After all the polished is removed, I soak my feet in hot water for 10 minutes. You honestly don't have to soak your feet for a full 10 minutes but I find it really relaxing. Immediately after soaking your feet, use a pumice stone and a foot file (I'm pretty sure that's what it's called, but correct me if I'm wrong) to file away any dead skin, and to make your feet feel really good! I found a kit at CVS a while ago and it has all the essentials for an at home pedicure so it makes it super easy to find all the tools you'll need! After drying off my feet, I cut my nails. I never ever let the people at the nail salon cut my nails because I am prone to ingrown nails and I am always so scared they're gonna screw it up (TMI ik sorry!!). Anyways I cut my nails and then am ready to paint them! The color I choose to paint my toes depends on my mood, and if I'm wearing open toed shoes what color would match my outfit best. Lately though, I have been really into white nails. I think it looks super clean and put together. I really like Essie Blanc (I think that's what it's called! I'll correct it if I'm wrong).I recommend to ALWAYS use a base coat when painting your toe nails because if you don't your nails will turn yellow and that looks disgusting! I love the formula x base coat. It both prevents staining and chipping. The ill go ahead and paint my nails whatever color I previously chose. Now onto the top coat. my HOLY GRAIL topcoat is the glisten and glow hk girl topcoat. IT IS INSANE. I have no clue what's in this that makes it so good but I don't really care. I think I'll post a full review raving about it but I HIGHLY recommend This!! Thanks Nicole (youngwildandpolished on YouTube) for recommending this to me! I am never touching another top coat. Buy it here: http://glistenandglow.bigcartel.com/product/hk-girl-fast-drying-super-shiny-top-coatp.s. I'm not affiliated 😀That's basically my at home pedicure routine. It pretty simple and it honestly saves you a ton of money! I spent $10-$15 on the tools, then another $25 for the polish, topcoat and base coat, And I can reuse all these items over and over!I hope you guys try this routine and let me know what your favorites are in the comments! And if you guys order the hk girl topcoat tell them I sent you!!As always, thank you so much for reading!XOXO,Shadow
