3 Healthy and Very Portable Snacks

So today I’m doing a post on snacks that are easy to take on the go but don’t come a prepackaged bag. My favorite way to transport these snacks is in a super cute mason jar. But any kind of container will work.

  • Peanut Butter Sticks - Ok so for these I spoon a little bit of peanut butter (or any kind of nut butter) into a mason jar and then stick some apple slices, celery slices or even carrot slices in it and you’re good to go. This makes it perfect to take on the go. It also has a ton of protein and vitamins so its extremely healthy. Hummus also works if you're not a fan of peanut butter.
  • Edamame Bites -  Edamame has a ton of protein making it a perfect snack. Buy them fresh and steam them for about 6 minutes. Then throw them into a mason jar but remember to pack an extra bag for the outsides. These are delicious and if you really want add a tiny bit of salt for extra flavor.
  • Yogurt Parfait - Put some greek yogurt into your jar then add some berries (my favorite: raspberries and blackberries) and then add some roasted almonds or granola. This is delicious and super healthy. Just remember to pack a spoon!
